ACADEMY SESSIONS PROGRAM _ 2009 / 2010 / 2011 (u7)

We are particularly excited about this, our newest and youngest, age group

YPT's Academy Sessions Program has been designed to emulate age-appropriate training as it happens at the highest developmental levels in Europe.

Arsene Wenger, Arsenal's iconic head coach was recently quoted as saying "The basis of the player is the technique. You get that between 7 and 14 years of age. If you have no technical skill at 14, you can forget it, you will not be a footballer.

To that end, training will be fun with the focus for this program being on areas such as: individual ball technique (comfort and creativity), agility and coordination, and the development of individual capacity within competitive small-sided games.

PROGRAM  FEEDBACK

"He loved it and wants to come practice indoor with you, if you have the space."

"Francis continues to seek out the attention to detail and form that you provide. Kudos - since he gets it no where else. "

"The little improvements that we had to make, like crisper passes or big getaway touches or checking to the ball and not the cone, were really helpful. I enjoyed the entire session.”

"Your training is top notch. Good interaction with the kids. You memorized names right away and made a connection with each one. The content was specific and exact. Progressions were timely and not too much was presented at once. If you did this on a regular basis there could be less explanation and more directed action. The kids I talked to really liked it and would like for you to come back.”
