EUROPEAN TOUR PROGRAM
My experience with LA Galaxy has been great. I was part of the first official season for their academy. The environment was exactly what I needed compared to the standard club scene here in Southern California. My last season before I went off to Cal State Fullerton we traveled over to England to play the likes of Everton, Blackburn, Manchester City, Ipswich Town and West Ham. I had a liking from the Everton coach that we trained with which was awesome. I will play with LA Galaxy u20 this summer.
Our trip we did is still a vivid memory to me. I have grown so much as a player and I still hear your voice in my head when I train and play. I remember you always saying thinking 2 or 3 steps ahead. I always did but took the time to do it more often. Also I now look at the players feet to aim the ball to. Touches, Touches, Touches and more touches on the ball. Do fitness with the ball as it relates so much to the game. Enjoy myself on the pitch. Aim for perfection. These are only some of the things I remember and there is so much more.
I am at my first year at Cal State Fullerton. I hope to reunite one day and see you. My dream is still to play over in Europe somewhere. It would be awesome one time to maybe tag along with you on one of your trips and be like an assistant as you have so much knowledge of the game.

EUROPEAN TOUR PROGRAM
There is one thing I hated about the YPT tour-- it had to end!!! Seriously, it was so much fun and a truly special experience. The balance of soccer and touring, of free time vs group time, of parent and child time was perfect. I can't imagine what goes into all this planning and the huge responsibility of leading the teenage boys and their parents I was so impressed by the way you cared for every small detail, from watching what the boys were eating, to making sure the parents were having fun too.
The soccer of course was great and your coaching is top notch. It was really fun to watch the team evolve from the first friendly to the final match.
The boys have said that the trip was amazing. They loved everything about it. Luke felt that the friendly was crucial to getting the team ready and loved training on site. They both wanted a longer trip...
I feel that we have made some wonderful new friends along the way, couldn't have asked for a better group. You certainly wore many hats, from coach to tour guide, to surrogate parent.. and you carried it all off with professionalism and humor. Both Chris and I have really enjoyed getting to know you. Your passion for the game and love of travel really shine through.

A quick note to let you know that William was selected to play for the U14 National Team at the Disney Showcase Tournament in Orlando at Thanksgiving.
I give a lot of credit to his coach at YPT this past July for helping Will get selected for the National team. He spent the week at YPT teaching Will how to play defensive center-mid. Will took this knowledge and played as defensive center-mid during the qualifying process for the National team. I am convinced that the techniques he learned from helped him to stand out, particularly since Will had never played this position before.

First of all, we want to thank you for the opportunity for Bayley to attend the Residence Program. It was truly more than just your regular training camp. From the moment he showed up, we were impressed with the facilities, accommodations for the boys, the training regiment and quality of the trainers, and the overall atmosphere that Bayley experienced. He was truly disappointed to be leaving on Friday (he thought it was over on the Sunday) – he could have gone for 2 weeks!!
From Bayley’s perspective: Likes – great trainers, liked the daily schedule, loved the champions league matches, sleeping in the dorms, great food. Dislikes – absolutely nothing!! From my perspective: Likes – structured disciplined environment – yet personal (Bayley was known by name as an individual), that I could watch the games and get daily feedback from him, I liked that he was so happy, location was amazing – perfect for the program Dislikes – nothing that I was unhappy about!
Once again, I want to thank you for a great experience for Bayley! It has been the highlight of his summer and probably year, and he is already planning for next year (he just would rather it be two weeks instead of one!).

UNDER-10 TRAINING PROGRAM
Thank you for the two days of training We definitely enjoyed watching him out there with you. Landon left the field with a positive attitude and wanted to keep training with you. With a smaller group you have more time to focus on each kids strength and weakness. The second day, I saw that he was more creative and not afraid to showcase his skills. Not sure what you said to him, or expected out of him, but we saw his willingness to be more creative and that's a good thing. I would like him to build this level of confidence and creativity, along with his speed and dribbling skills. If he can just break out of that shell, I believe he could be a great player.
We definitely like the honest feedback. I would like additional training for him and see what you can offer him individually and in groups. Hope to hear from you soon.

I spoke with my son Jon Leon and he told me that YPT is perfect. The knowledge of the coaching staff is unsurpassed. He enjoyed his time there and is looking forward to attending next summer. He really enjoyed the free German lessons from his coach. Jon studies German in school.

I had so much fun at YPT this year! I really enjoyed seing old friends and making new ones. I also really enjoyed working with the trainers. He really enjoyed the training sessions. He liked learning how to juggle with his feet, the drills and small sided games. He's incorporating those drills in his practicing. He's quite passionate about soccer and he's eager to learn. We know he's a little behind most as they have played early on and have a bit more experience but he's learning and growing so I think he'll catch up.

I noticed German players were more Tactical vs.Spanish players were more skillful by quick passing.I liked our type of playing more than kick and run. I felt like a professional when I went in and out of the dressing room and as we went on to the field together but did not like taking showers together with other players watching.There was not any privacy but I had to deal with it. I liked traveling with my teammates and seeing other places in Portugal.My favorite place that I liked was the castle. The fields were perfectly straight considering it being real grass. I am disappointed with not having enough cheering from the parents. I learned discipline and to behave as a professional soccer player from my Coach John. I liked making new friends from our team but most of all I know that I will see them again playing somewhere else. I liked playing defense but I wanted to switch around and play other positions. I liked being captain one time but I wish I was a captain couple more times. I wished we had won more often so we can Qualify to play at the finals.
